Board Game Capital's Review:
(2020-01-07)
Mighty Mice We're a big fan of children's game so we were excited when we saw this game. Much like other stacking games, players try not to knock over the tower. Players throw a die which indicates how many mice you must place on the elephants (one at a time) in an attempt to get rid of all your mice to win. What we really liked is that when the tower gets knocked over, the game isn't over. You now inherit all the knocked over mice. Kids don't have the best dexterity so this keeps the game going. We played numerous games and even though someone had quite the collection of mice, they were still able to win.

Mighty Mice is a very well built game. It comes in a very sturdy box with cute simple graphics, a cotton storage bag where game components are kept and nicely made wooden game pieces. We really like the fact that some elephants have longer trunks or tails so you can use them to stack mice. Although, some aren't quite long enough and make the stack fall over very easily. Perhaps this was intentional. Game pieces are small so this won't dent your table when it all comes crashing down.

Mighty Mice DiceWe also really liked the fact that you can add additional elephants to the pile. This makes for a fun twist and added challenge. In the games we played we didn't get the elephant to show up too often on the dice. We never had more than two in the stack at once. I'm sure this is to help move the game along and level the playing field.

For such a simple game, we really enjoyed this game and our little play testers had a blast. We pushed the limits and had a three year old play and they did just great with minimal adult help. We'd recommend this game for kids and adults to play together and is a quick game to play in a few minutes. We loved the colors and how things looked when the stacks were formed. All around great kid's game.
