In 7 Wonders Duel, players take on the role of leading civilizations, tasked with constructing Buildings and Wonders to develop their cities. Each player's collection of Buildings and Wonders forms their "city." The game unfolds over three Ages, with each Age utilizing a distinct deck of cards representing Buildings. Throughout each Age, players have the opportunity to play approximately 10 cards, allowing them to earn coins, bolster their armies, uncover scientific advancements, and expand their cities.
Victory in 7 Wonders Duel can be achieved through military supremacy, scientific advancements, or civilian achievements. Military and scientific victories can occur at any point during the game, immediately ending it. However, if no player has secured victory by the end of the third Age, the game concludes with players tallying their victory points. Military and scientific victories can happen at any time and end the game immediately. If, by the end of the third Age, no one has yet won the game, the players add up their victory points, and the player with the highest score is declared the winner.
