HOW TO PLAY
Charterstone is a legacy game that is designed for 1-6 players and features competitive gameplay. As players progress through the game, they construct buildings and populate a communal village. Building stickers are removed from cards and permanently affixed to the charter on the board, creating action spaces that can be utilized by any player (similar to the mechanics in games like Lords of Waterdeep, Caylus, and Ora et Labora). As a result, a small selection of buildings quickly evolves into a bustling village filled with dozens of available actions.

In Charterstone, a competitive legacy game, the prosperous Kingdom of Green Gully, which has long been ruled by the Forever King, has issued a decree for its citizens to colonize the vast lands beyond its borders. To start a new village, the Forever King has selected six citizens, each with a unique set of skills that they will use to construct their charter. Players work together to build buildings and establish a shared village. Building stickers are removed from cards and permanently added to each player's charter on the board, creating action spaces that can be used by any player. As the village grows, the number of available actions expands, providing a bustling and dynamic environment for players to strategize and compete.
