The Cobra Paw tournament originates from an ancient game called Clawfuku, believed to have been created by a mysterious figure known as Phee Lion. Phee Lion was known for his lightning-fast paw movements, which would cause a destructive wind to rise whenever he snatched a stone. He used this power to conquer the land, causing fear and hatred to spread throughout the people.
However, a wandering ninja named Master Meow challenged Phee Lion to a game of Clawfuku, with the loser facing exile. Master Meow had mastered a technique known as the Cobra Paw, which he used to defeat Phee Lion and restore peace to the land.
To this day, Cobra Paw tournaments are held in honor of Master Meow's legacy. It is believed that whoever can master the Cobra Paw technique will cause Master Meow to rise again. Throughout his life, many opponents challenged Master Meow, but none came close to defeating him.
Cobra Paw is a fast-paced dice game for 2-6 players, where players take turns rolling dice to try to be the first to grab the Cobra Paw from the center of the table. The specific symbols on the dice can vary depending on the edition of the game, but the basic game play remains the same. Game rule variations include Ghosts Of The Fallen, No Touchy and Two Ninja Stand-Off.
Place the Cobra Paw in the center of the table, and give each player 6 dice. On each turn, players roll all six of their dice. To grab the Cobra Paw, a player must roll two specific symbols on their dice, as determined by the current player with the Cobra Paw. For example, the current player might say "I need two paws."
If multiple players roll the required symbols, they can all reach for the Cobra Paw at the same time. The first player to grab the Cobra Paw gets to keep it, and starts the next round. The first player to grab the Cobra Paw 5 times wins the game. Get your copy of Cobra Paw today!
