Successfully catch the most butterflies in your net and you'll become the winner.
Perparation: Hold the net handle with the word “Elefun” facing downward.
Insert the end of the rim into the opening located on the edge of the net. Then, slide the net around the rim. Lock the rim into the handle by sliding the square end of the rim into the square hole on the handle. Push the end of the rim up past the narrow area, then insert it into the square hole. Position Elefun in the center of the play area on the floor. Each player selects a net.
Game Play: Players take turns loading and launching the butterfly flyers, starting with the youngest player and proceeding in age order. One player loads 1-3 flyers into Elefun’s trunk while the other players stand back and prepare to catch, ensuring the space above Elefun’s trunk is clear. Then, the player who loaded the flyers steps down on Elefun’s tail to launch them.
Note: Do not lean over Elefun’s trunk during launch.
All players attempt to catch the flyers as they spin in the air. Flyers that land on the floor can be picked up and placed in the players' nets, as they count towards their collections. Players put any caught flyers aside, keeping track of their own collections, and repeat the process until all flyers have been launched and collected.
Players tally up the number of butterfly flyers they have collected. The player with the highest count wins the game! In case of a tie where multiple players have the same number of flyers, they share the victory!
