Golden Deuce is a game that starts with a round of card, each players goal is to lay down higher cards than the other players so that they can take the lead. The goal is to be the first to put down all your cards in order to gain points for the cards that were left in opponents hands.
After the round of cards, play moves to the gameboard where players strategize to move their pawns the number of spaces they achieved in the round of cards.
