Hojo Pojo is a card game that is similar to the popular game Go Fish. The objective of the game is to collect as many sets of four cards (called "books") as possible. Each player is dealt a hand of cards, and the game is played in rounds.

To begin a round, players take turns asking other players if they have a specific card that they are looking for. If the player being asked has the card, they must give it to the player who asked for it. If they do not have the card, they must say "Go Pojo" and the player who asked must draw a card from the deck.

After a player collects four of the same card, they must lay them down as a "book" and can then draw a new card from the deck. The game continues until the deck runs out of cards. The player with the most books at the end of the game is the winner.

Some variations of Hojo Pojo include:
  • Allowing players to steal books from other players if they have four of the same card and the other player has one of those cards.
  • Allowing players to ask for any card they want, rather than specifying a card.
  • Allowing a player to draw a card from the deck instead of asking for a card.
