Hojo Pojo presents an engaging card game experience reminiscent of the classic Go Fish. Players aim to amass sets of four cards, known as "books," throughout the game. Each round begins with players being dealt a hand of cards, setting the stage for strategic exchanges and competitive gameplay.
In each round, players take turns asking their opponents for specific cards that they require to complete their sets. If the queried player possesses the requested card, they must relinquish it to the requester. However, if they don't hold the card, they must declare "Go Pojo," prompting the asking player to draw from the deck in hopes of finding the desired card.
As players successfully gather four matching cards, they form a "book" and lay it down, enabling them to draw another card from the deck. The game progresses in this manner until the deck is depleted. The player who accumulates the most books by the game's conclusion emerges as the victor, showcasing their skill in collecting and strategic maneuvering throughout the rounds.
