Periorbis takes board games to a whole new level with a large center game board and secondary individualized game board for every player. That's not to mention everything else that is included with this game. If you like very detailed, intricate, strategic and somewhat complicated board games then this is a perfect fit.

Players are trying to gain the most victory points but doing so is something only the official game rules can tell you. Everything from selecting and using the right employees, correctly buying ore, using special abilities and power ups, fulfilling selling contracts and even a rotating schedule for what order players proceed in the game keeps this game way out in space on its own planet. Learn more about Periorbis below.

Board Game Capital's Review:
Periorbis ContentsBlast off into space and enter a whole new realm of board game - a quite intricate one we might add. Periorbis is not a beginner or even an intermediate player board game. There is a lot going on with this game! If you like space themed games that play on various abilities and types of employees, agents, power ups, selling advantages, contracts, building bases and numerous other strategic facts and figures then this game is for you. If you are a light hearted party game player steer clear of this game.

Periorbis is a very well made game with impressive quality, graphics, game pieces and instructions. We loved how everything was packaged and organized. The game board and individual players' boards are very well illustrated although there is a lot going on, on both. As said above, there is a lot going on with this game with cubes, discs, employee cards, asteroids, bases, contract cards, etc.

The rules are very well organized with many useful examples and pictures. This is no quick read and will be referenced for a long time until you have mastered the game. If you are an average or aspiring board game master this may take 3-4 games until you have a solid grasp on the game. The rules are surprisingly short for the amount of complexity to this game.

Periorbis CardsThis game is remarkably thought through with so many options and possibilities. Everyone is different and entitled to their own opinions but we thought it was a little too much. If you're in to learning and becoming very invested in a game then this would be a great game for you. We thought the learning curve was a little too steep and too complicated for your average player. Don't let this discourage you if you're interested since this game has so much potential once you truly understand it. We can see this would be a great game for likeminded players to hash out and play during its 120 minute play time.

Be sure to read through the game rules, check out videos on this game and even ask around for those that have played it before. Periorbis is a fascinating and impressive game that has mind boggling possibilities and strategy built in. If you're into that type of board game then this is a great fit. It's surely a game to investigate and learn more about. If you like euro games such as Terra Mystica or Powergrid then Periorbis is for you.
