Welcome to the dead man's party! In this nail-biting strategy game, keep on your toes against opponents casting spells to bring back the most legendary parties of the past from their graves. You will be collecting skulls in the colors you need, then assembling them in a pattern that would raise the dead. There is a catch, however: it's not to help your opponents in trying to get ahead of them.
Each player starts with a deck of cards and a small pool of resources. On his or her turn, a player may do a variety of things: draw cards, play cards, and acquire new cards to add to their deck. The player can also activate their resources to summon spirits and perform rituals, which rewards victory points. The game is played until one player has done five turns; the player with the most victory points wins.
Dead Man's Cabal is a fun strategy game, although it looks a bit intimidating at first. After you play it once, though, you'll be begging to play again, if you survive, of course.
