The first time the game rules were ever explained to me I was so lost. There is a lot going on in this game and there are a lot of rules up front. However, after playing through once, they made much more sense. Learning how to play Villainous isn't that bad after all. I like how I can have a PDF backup of the game rules also since my rules always seem to disappear or get ruined.
