Compete against your opponents in an enchanting race to get rid of all the cards first in this engaging and tactical game of laying tiles. In each match, the Queen Bee starts at the center of the hive while players gradually form the hive by laying new cards with matching or wildcard colors along their edges.
Every card has to be played with at least two connections to other cards. When connecting, all sides have to match in color. Connect more than two for bonus plays. Chain these together to race ahead of your opponents and leave a trail of pollen in your wake! But beware: Your opponents will also have cards in the way to demolish your plans using Flowers, Worker Bees, and those fearsome Bears to draw loads of extra cards that may block you! In The Bears and the Bees, each player is trying to be the first to get rid of all the cards in their hand by placing them cleverly to connect to the community hive that you will be building together. To play a card, a player must orient it to touch two or more previously played cards such that the colors on touching sides match. Points are counted for any cards left in your hand at the end of each round. After three rounds, the player with the lowest score is declared the illustrious Queen Bee.
For a shorter game, only one round is played, and whoever gets rid of all their cards first wins. The rest of the players can continue to determine second and third place, adding more excitement to the hive-building frenzy.
