ABOUT THIS GAME

Final Challenge is a hilarious and somewhat step-out-of-the-box game that will get everyone out of their comfort zone. Not recommended for younger audiences (game rightfully recommends players 18 years old and up) and probably not best for your family. This is a play with your friends, dates or crushes as you’ll be doing some interesting things – if you so choose.

If you want to spice up your game night in many different ways, pull out Final Challenge, quickly explain the game rules and you’re off and acting, singing, licking things, you name it. Get ready for some bizarre things happening as you or your other players battle to the end of this fun party game. Pick up your copy of the game Final Challenge today.

Board Game Capital's Review (2021-09-20):
Final ChallengeDon’t let this cute, colorful and nicely drawn up party game fool you. Get ready for an all out war of fun awkwardness as everyone is forced to step outside their comfort zone by singing, acting or even licking something. When we saw ages 18+ we didn’t quite know what we were in for but now we do – play this with a group of friends or dates that you are comfortable with – not your family.

Final Challenge is a very nicely put together game that is more than just a funny card game where players do silly things. There is some light hearted strategy, back stabbing and even hilarious personal hidden messages like "horny werewolf massages the air loudly". You can take the action or pass it off to another player. We liked that you did have an option to pass if you really didn’t want to do something or you could even volunteer to perform the card to try and get ahead in the game. In all, it was a nice way to mix a standard party/drinking game with something that has a little more of a purpose.

The game is built from excellent materials and extra thought was given as to the shapes and sizes of the game pieces since they fit so nicely in a custom rectangular box. There was a lot of empty space in the box but they filled it nicely with a divider. The graphics are very unique and their theme follows the game on all components.

Final ChallengeThe game rules are, although seemingly daunting, very easy to learn and understand. Like with most games, it might take 10-20 minutes to read and understand how to play, but only 5 minutes to verbally explain it to others as you play along. There are lots of graphics and examples in the rules which we love to see. Nicely done!

In the "end of the game section" in the rules, it states, "we are not the boss of you…[do] whatever the heck you decide...". This sums up the game – there is a structured and somewhat strategic game in front of you where you can have a hilarious blast playing it but in the end, do what you’d like to do that best fits your group. Right when someone feels like they are getting close to winning, their opponent will use their special ability and put you back in your place. Prepare to laugh – a lot.
