It's a Wonderful Life is a trivia and board game about the favorite holiday classic movie. The goal of this game is to take George Bailey through life by gathering five different Friends and Family cards, along with an $8,000 card. As players move their pieces around the board, they pick up those cards, along with moments of George's life, adding that extra layer of nostalgia for those who love the movie.
Players will collect Friends and Family cards throughout the game, which will be obtained by landing on particular spaces and answering trivia questions about the movie. Players also need to pick up one of their two $8,000 cards, which is part of their set. A player wins the game by collecting all of these cards-five Friends and Family cards and one $8,000 card-prior to taking his George mover safely home to the center of the board.
For example, after he draws his cards to get all their George movers back home, he waits for his next turn. At this turn, after the die is rolled, it is upon the player at his immediate left to ask him any question. This must be correctly answered; otherwise, he stays in the same position for another turn in order to try and make a win.
This gets the game rolling, mixing trivia questions, strategy, and a little bit of luck. It's a Wonderful Life is a fun way for fans of the movie to relive the story while testing their knowledge of its iconic moments. The first player to correctly answer his or her question on the first try wins the game, hence making it a fun yet competitive challenge for all players involved.
