GAME SUMMARY
Lost Cities gives quite innovative gameplay, whereby the challenge for the players is to lay down cards, matching the selected expeditions in continuous order. The catch is that once a player lays down a number card for an expedition, no lesser-numbered card can be placed from then on. Each completed expedition offers different rewards and penalties based on the number of cards laid down.

First of all, Lost Cities is one of those games that one needs to play in order to appreciate the thrill and depth of. While luck will definitely play a part, skillful decisions and calculated risks will give players an edge. The simplicity and portability of the game make it a very good candidate for gaming on the go. However, its limitation to only two players may be a downside for larger groups seeking to enjoy the adventure.

Embark on an adventure into the unknown, from the Himalayas and the Brazilian rainforest to other exotic destinations in search of lost cities. With limited resources, players have to carefully select the expeditions to undertake, skillfully balancing risk and confidence to achieve success. I went into this thinking it wasn't going to be very fun but man was I wrong. The scoring can be a bit tricky the first couple times but once you catch on what you need to do to get the most points the game play is strategic and suspenseful. Would recommend!
