SUMMARY
Lost Cities offers an ingenious gameplay experience that challenges players to strategically lay down cards matching chosen expeditions in sequential order. The twist lies in the rule that once a player lays down a number card for an expedition, they cannot place a lower-numbered card thereafter. Each expedition completion offers different rewards and penalties based on the number of cards laid down.

To truly appreciate the thrill and depth of Lost Cities, one must experience its gameplay firsthand. While luck certainly plays a role, skillful decision-making and calculated risk-taking can give players an edge. The game's simplicity and portability make it an ideal choice for gaming on the go. However, its limitation to only two players may be a downside for larger groups seeking to enjoy the adventure.

Embark on a journey into the unknown as you explore the Himalayas, the Brazilian rainforest, and other exotic locales in search of lost cities. With limited resources, players must carefully choose their expeditions, balancing confidence and risk to achieve success. Finding the perfect equilibrium between ambition and prudence will lead to triumphant expeditions, making Lost Cities an exhilarating and rewarding gaming experience.

I went into this thinking it wasn't going to be very fun but man was I wrong. The scoring can be a bit tricky the first couple times but once you catch on what you need to do to get the most points the game play is strategic and suspenseful. Would recommend!
