Wealth of Nations challenges players to transform a humble town into a thriving, powerful city. To succeed, you’ll need to manage your resources wisely and navigate the complexities of industrial production and international trade. From setting up industries to creating the goods that drive your economy, the key to success lies in balancing your growth and making strategic decisions. As you advance, you'll aim to expand your influence and stake your claims around the game board, showing your presence in the world.
In Wealth of Nations, you are a world economic leader. Your goal is to build and dominate industries that produce valuable commodities. Once your industries are running, you can sell these products to the market, exchange them with other merchants, or use them to produce new industries. But maintaining control over the market is crucial—if you stock the market with too much of something, you have the danger of devaluing them, and you will struggle to maintain your industries.
In order to win in Wealth of Nations, players have to balance growth with diversification carefully. Efficient industries will give more products, but one must not overproduce. Selling commodities earns money, but excessive sales can collapse the market. Good players understand when to restrain themselves and when to exchange with other players to maximize their gains. It's a matter of achieving the right tactic to prosper in a competitive and dynamic global economy.
The game is over when certain conditions are met, and players receive Victory Points for their cash balances left and industries established on the board. The player with the most Victory Points at the end of the game wins, which demands careful management of industries and intelligent trading to do so. It's a test of foresight, strategy, and economic acumen.
So, are you ready for the challenge? Can you build a nation superior to your competition? Dive into Wealth of Nations for a deeply strategic experience in which you'll always be plotting your next move in an effort to build the best nation and win.

Your goal in Wealth of Nations is to earn the most Victory Points (VPs) at the end of the game. You earn 4 VPs for each Industry tile and 1 VP for every $10. If you're in debt at the end of the game, this will cost you VPs, since you lose 3 VPs for each Promissory note you have. The best way to earn VPs is to develop new Industries, produce Commodity cubes that are in high demand, and make the most money possible.
